Wayne McCormick knows his insurance.
I am new to San Diego and just bought a new car. I am 24 years old and drive a Chrysler 300…not exactly the easiest candidate to insure.
I tried calling the major companies; Geico, Progressive, State Farm etc. and I simply couldn’t find a reasonable quote.
I was referred to Wayne by a friend. I stopped by his office and was gone within 20 minutes, fully insured and with the best rate I had heard thus far.
He’s always available to answer any questions and take care of anything that pops up. I definitely recommend Wayne to anybody who is looking for insurance!

I was referred to Wayne by State Farm Insurance after making numerous calls to insurance companies and learning no one would insure me due to a 7 year old DUI. Just another lovely CA quirk. Wayne was very helpful in finding me coverage within my price range without losing the amenities I feel are necessary. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for insurance even if you don’t have a glitch, he is set up with every insurance company imaginable.

I was referred to Wayne from a salesperson working for another insurance company. This guy said, if you want to get a better price, call Wayne. This was back in 2001 and I’ve been going to Wayne for all my insurance needs since then. He IS the best! For example, I have unfortunately been in a couple of accidents and had questions about what car I should get that wouldn’t skyrocket my insurance premiums. I called Wayne every time I thought I found a car that I wanted and asked what my insurance would be for that car. He not only provides quotes, but provides information that helps you get the right amount of coverage for you – not anyone else. He’s not a cookie-cutter insurance agent – he is one of a kind.

I had searched around for a home owners policy for an older house with a wood shake roof that was driving the premiums sky high. Some insurers wouldn’t even touch it. I had always enjoyed an ample discount through my employer’s discount with Met Life before I considered a home in San Diego.
After reading his Yelp reviews, I decided to give Wayne McCormick a call. I was immediately struck by how knowledgeable he is about the fine print of various policies. Most other agents I called offered quotes and little else in terms of advice for the best coverage without going overboard. Wayne was able to find a homeowners policy that matched the premium of my discounted quote from another carrier and offered more coverage. Wayne asks a lot of good questions to make sure his clients are properly insured.
His underwriters were spot on, too. I had been given rebuild estimates over the phone that varied by $300K from agent to agent. Wayne’s estimate was within $12K of an independent appraisal.
Definitely give Wayne a call if you’re shopping for insurance.

I’ve been using Wayne McCormick for over 10 years and there is a reason why. Whenever I need anything, I just give him a call and he takes good care of me. Unlike every other company, he’s so easy to work with. I’ve tried shopping around for cheaper, better insurance plans but Wayne always gives me the best deal hands down. You can definitely trust him to be honest and look out for your best interest. He knows so much about all the other companies and how they try to sell you plans you don’t actually need. A couple minutes on the phone, fax a signature and your done. You can’t beat this service.
